1. Who we are
Pusong Bayani (pusongbayani.ph) is a campaign of the Center for Information Resilience and Integrity Studies (CIRIS), produced with Hot and Fresh. For the purposes of the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173), CIRIS is the personal information controller. D3SD Software Development Services (Dthree Digital) operates this website as a personal information processor on the controller’s behalf.
2. What we collect
Pledge: your name, your consent, and a timestamp when you sign the pledge and generate a certificate. Event registration: your name, surname, email address, and (optionally) phone number when you register for a community event. Quiz: your answers and, if you choose to join the lucky draw, your email address, collected through our quiz partner, Opinion Stage. Analytics: usage data (pages viewed, actions taken, device type) via Google Analytics 4 and Meta Pixel, using cookies.
3. Why we collect it
To generate your personalized pledge certificate; to count and display total pledges; to organize and confirm event attendance; to run the quiz and lucky draw; and to measure how the campaign performs so we can improve it.
4. Legal basis
We process your information based on your consent, given through the checkboxes on our forms before any data is submitted. You may decline. The episodes and all content remain fully accessible without providing any personal information.
5. Where it lives and for how long
Data is stored on Amazon Web Services infrastructure operated for this campaign. We keep it only for the duration of the campaign and up to 90 days after its close, after which it is securely deleted or turned over to the controller. Quiz data is held by Opinion Stage under their privacy policy.
6. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. It is shared only with: CIRIS (the controller), Opinion Stage (quiz), Google (analytics), Meta (advertising measurement), and Amazon Web Services (hosting). Event details may be shared with the event’s organizing partner (e.g. BFAR) strictly for attendance purposes.
7. Your rights
Under the Data Privacy Act you may access, correct, or ask us to delete your personal information, object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time. Write to privacy@pusongbayani.ph. You may also lodge a complaint with the National Privacy Commission (privacy.gov.ph).
8. Cookies
We use cookies for analytics and advertising measurement only. Your browser settings can block or delete cookies at any time; the site works without them.
9. Sharing your certificate
When you sign the pledge we create a page at a private, unguessable web address that shows your name and your certificate. It exists so you can share your certificate on social media, and the link is only ever given to you. The page is excluded from search engines.
